Mič Klajnman mi je dao odrešene ruke za
jednominutni propagandni video za njegovu
firmu za distribuciju smrznutog jogurta. U Maji
sam sa zadovoljstvom animirao kašičice i
časice. Mič je bio prezadovoljan a Frozen
Solutions je za godinu dana postala vodeća
američka firma za taj proizvod.
Mitch Kleinman gave me a free rein for a one-
minute promotional video for his frozen yogurt
distribution company. I happily animated
spoons and cups in Maya. Mitch was overjoyed
and within a year Frozen Solutions became the
leading American company for that product.
Dobar i mio prijatelj me je zamolio da njegovo ćeri
uradim muzički spot. Nisam uspeo da se odbranim i
posle 10ak dana potpunog noubadžet samoubistva
(sve = AV snimanje, montaža, efekti...sve!), napravio
sam video kojim sam bio zadovoljan: stilski čist retro
"trash look video", apsolutno različit od svega što se
"vrtelo i vrti" po srpskim televizijama. Naravno, ćeri
i ćerinoj mami se nije svidelo. Posle nekih 6 meseci,
ćera je objavila novi, "profesionalno plaćeni "spot, u
tada aktuelnom srpskom "soft-porn" maniru, sa
ostvarenih 452 Youtube pregleda u celoj godini.
Značajno sam zadovoljan sam jer sam bar na pola
godine spasio čovečanstvo od jedne ambiciozne...
pevačice.
A good and sweet friend asked me to make a music
video for his daughter. I couldn't defend myself and
after about 10 days of complete no-budget suicide
(everything = AV recording, editing, effects...
everything!), I made a video that I was satisfied with:
a stylishly clean retro "trash look video", absolutely
different from everything else was "spinning" on
Serbian television. Of course, the daughter and her
mother didn't like it. I am significantly satisfied
because I saved humanity from an ambitious... singer
for at least half a year.
Super drugar me je pozvao da spasim njegovog kuma,
producenta u Emotionu, kome su hitno bili potrebni
neki "sitni" video efekti za prvih šest epizoda neke TV
serije sa nazivom, valjda Urgentni centar...ili slično.
Snimateljski i režiserski idioti su poslikali ključne scene
sa ugašenim monitorima i zelenim krstićima za
markiranje ... ne znam čega? Skoro sam se sahranio od
rotoskopije tog sranja, a kum umalo nije umro kad sam
mu naplatio kompozitne kadrove za prve tri epizode. I
to po ekstra drugarskoj trećini vrednosti. Naravno,
naredne epizode nisam radio.
A super friend invited me to “rescue” his best man, a
producer at Emotion, who urgently needed some
"small" video effects for the first six episodes of a TV
series called, I guess, Urgentni centar...or something
like that. Cinematographer and director idiots filmed
the key scenes with the monitors turned off and the
green crosses to mark ... I don't know what? I nearly
buried myself rotoscoping that shit, and the godfather
nearly died when I charged him for the composite
footage for the first three episodes. Everything for an
extra friendly third of the price. Of course, I didn't do
the following episodes.
Moj sin je napravio uspešnu agenciju za prodaju avio
karata i častio sam ga kompletnim, efikasnim,
interaktivnim sajtom. Bio sam prezadovoljan svojim
autorskim i stilskim rezultatom i ne razumem zašto je
odbio moje rešenje logotipa sačinjenog od dva B2B
bombardera u sudaru?
My son built a successful airline ticket agency and I
gifted him with a complete, efficient, interactive site.
I was very happy with my creative and stylistic result
and I don't understand why he rejected my logo
solution made of two B2B bombers in a collision?

I directed and realized two propaganda video "Lottery
Vojvodina" for the producers Mica and Zoran from 3D
Video Systems. Drawing for the first video was done
by Bojan Redzic. I made it in Photoshop and Fusion.
Another was a computer- animation in Maya.

Malo sam se poigrao sa "Midjourney - a text-to-image
AI". Istina je ono što rekoše za AI: niti je veštačka,
niti je inteligencija. Sviđa mi se koncept "autorstva":
imbecil može da "stvori" tehnološki impresivnu "sliku",
pomoću nekoliko engleskih tekstualnih pojmova. Meni
je to zabavno, kao i milioni onih divnih gluposti na
Yutubu, Instagramu, TikToku... Toliko za sada.
I played around a bit with "Midjourney - a text-to-
image AI". It's true what they said about AI: it's neither
artificial nor intelligence. I like the concept of
"authorship": an imbecile can "create" a
technologically impressive "image", using a few
English text terms. It's fun for me, and so are the
millions of wonderful nonsense on YouTube,
Instagram, TikTok... That's it for now.
Moj najdraži prijatelj, SlSr, podigao je, sa svojim
meštanima, crkvu u zaseoku Crkvine (Grošnica
kod Kragujevca). Uradio sam sajt kao foto-video-
album za sve drage ljude koji su učestvovali u
tom gradjevinsko-duhovnom poduhvatu. I pamtim
svaku godišnju slavu pred crkvom, sa mnogo sati
neverovatno dobre energije i radosti.
My dearest friend, SlSr, built a church with his
townspeople in the hamlet of Crkvine (Grošnica
near Kragujevac). I made the site as a photo-
video-album for all the dear people who
participated in that construction-spiritual
undertaking. And I remember every annual
celebration in front of the church, with many
hours of incredibly good energy and joy.

U Ajklonu5 i Resolvu, uradio sam jednostavnu
animiranu tipografiju. Pet minuta animiranog filma
za tri - tri ipo sata rada = solidan tehnološki iskorak
real-time animacijom i digitalnom montažom.
In iClone 5 and Resolve, I did a simple animated
typography. Five minutes of animated film in three
to three and a half hours of work = solid
technological breakthrough with real-time
animation and digital editing.

"Ada Computers", kompjuterski animiran
propagandni spot, negde oko sredine
devedesetih. Radio sam na nekom PC-u,
možda Pentium na 90Mhz, u najboljem
ikad programu, 3D Studio V4, na DOS-u!

I Kaća je upropastila nekoliko noći da redizajnira i
preuredi yutub profil "Vv Sekcija", sa skoro stotinu
studentskih video radova. I u ovom slučaju je moje
učesće bilo impresivno...u posmatranju i uživanju.
And Kaća ruined several nights to redesign and
rearrange the "Vv Sekcija" YouTube profile, with
almost a hundred student video works. And in this
case, my participation was impressive...in
observation and enjoyment.
"Iskopao" sam moj, trinaest godina zaboravljeni,
yutub kanal. Nešto malo uspomenskih radova, plus
ikonica da popuni ovu stranu.
I "unearthed" my YouTube channel, forgotten for
thirteen years. A little bit of commemorative
work, plus this icon to fill out this page.
Pre 40 godina! Wauuuu! Ostvario sam sve svoje
snove: student a drugi asistent kamere na
Šijanovom filmu, 42 dana jurnjave po Jugi, veliki
glumci, velika žurka i ... sve kao san. Na kraju
sam odlučio da više nikada neću raditi u srpskom
dugometražnom filmu iz razloga neverovatne
količine fizičkog i mentalnog, nekreativnog
maltretiranja za kadrove koji su se mogli,
najkomotnije i bolje, uraditi u studiju.
40 years ago! Wow! I fulfilled all my dreams: a
student and the second camera assistant on Šijan's
film, 42 days of chasing around Yuga, big actors, a
big party and ... everything like a dream. In the
end, I decided that I would never work in a
Serbian feature film again because of the
incredible amount of physical and mental,
uncreative mistreatment for shots that could have
been done more comfortably and better in the
studio.
Godinu dana posle "Idiota", ipak sam morao da
uradim (porodica, deca, računi...), i drugi
dugometražni film, srpski komik-horor "Davitelj
protiv davitelja". Dva meseca hladno - martovskog
maltretiranja ulicama Beograda, noću! Ista
frenetična filmska žurka sa stvarnim hororom kada
je producent slomio obe butne kosti, padom u
nepokriveni šaht. Definitivno sam prekinuo želju
za takvim filmskim stvaranjem. U narednim
decenijama radio sam na mnogo desetina
dugometražnih filmova i mnogo stotina svakakvih
ostalih filmova, mnogo komotnije, efikasnije i sa
stvarnim zadovoljstvom.
A year after "The Idiot", I still had to do (family,
children, bills...), another feature film, the
Serbian comic-horror "Strangler vs. Strangler". Two
months of cold - March bullying in the streets of
Belgrade, at night! The same frenetic movie party
with real horror when the producer broke both
femurs, falling into an uncovered shaft. I have
definitely stopped wanting to do that kind of
filmmaking. In the following decades, I worked on
many dozens of feature films and many hundreds
of all kinds of other films, much more
comfortably, efficiently and with real pleasure.
